Welcome to Pridefest Collaborative, where our focus is to #elevatenotreplicate all the great organizations that support LGBTQIA+ youth and families in our community.

While we serve the upstate of SC primarily, we want to be a voice for all LGBTQIA+ youth and those that support, protect, and engage their ability to face the adversity of the world!

There is much work to be done in the LGBTQIA+ community. We highlight the areas of greatest concern to focus

Roughly 34% of LGBT youth report suffering physical violence from their parents as a result of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. (GLSEN)
25-40% of the youth who become homeless each year are LGBT, and the number is likely much higher.
25% of LGB students have been physically hurt by another student because of their sexual orientation.
74% of Transgender youth report sexual harassment at school based on their gender identity and expression.
