About Us

Pridefest Collaborative is a 501(c)(3) Community Charity Organization focused on improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth

Passion + Need = PFC

Pridefest Collaborative didn’t come into existence overnight.  In fact, becoming a non-profit was not the original intent of the group that became Pridefest Collaborative.  It started with a PASSION to provide safety and promote inclusion for our LGTBQIA+ youth and families through an event called Pridefest.  Pridefest was first held in 2021 and brough together 80+ participants and 15+ community organizations in an afternoon of fun, connection, and support!

In 2022, the community resonated with excitement for the next Pridefest, which was even bigger than the first.  As the community voice got louder, we realized that Pridefest was something special and NEEDED to be protected.  Thus, PFC came to be and the rest, you might say, has become history!

Empowering Support. Community Engagement.

As our hashtag tells you, we are here to #elevatenotreplicate all the great businesses and organizations that support, protect, and engage our LGBTQIA+ youth and familes!  Using our voice to make their voice louder is what we are all about.  We accomplish this through social media visibility, community “Meet and Greets,” participation in community events, and through our annual Pridefest!

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community charity with exemption status. Donations are deductible and help us further our reach and accomplish our mission. Consider giving one-time or continually or just join in the Fun!

impacting our youth and their families

LGBTQIA+ youth continue to face a wide range of challenges and issues that can negatively impact their mental health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Some of the most common issues facing LGBTQIA+ youth today include discrimination, harassment, and bullying, which can occur at school, in the workplace, and in other social settings.

To address these issues, it is important to promote inclusivity and support for LGBTQIA+ youth, provide access to resources and support services, and work to create safe and welcoming communities for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

A Letter from our founder

As a medical doctor primarily taking care of adolescents and young adults, I am no stranger to the challenges and obstacles our younger population faces, especially our LGBTQIA+ community.  We should do whatever we can to make this world deserving of them and let them know that even if they are not sure where they fit, they are not alone in figuring it out.

Help us raise the voice of our LGBTQIA+ youth and familes and connect them with the great services and organizations ready to show them how they can best #beyou!

Events Committee

The purpose of the Events Committee is to plan and organize events that promote the visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community. We will create events that are inclusive and engaging, as well as educational and empowering. We will also work to increase public awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues through these events and to provide a safe and supportive space for the community to come together and celebrate.

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee generates the necessary resources to support our organization’s mission. We will develop and execute fundraising strategies to attract and retain donors, sponsors, and volunteers. We will also work to create meaningful partnerships with other non-profits and businesses to increase our visibility and generate additional resources. Our goal is to ensure that our organization has the necessary resources to provide support and resources to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Marketing Committee

The purpose of the Marketing Committee is to build an effective marketing strategy to promote the visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community. We will create and implement marketing campaigns to reach out to potential partners, donors, and participants in our services, and to ensure our messaging is inclusive and engaging. We will use our marketing strategies to increase public awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues and to create an environment of inclusion and acceptance.

Community Connections Committee

The purpose of the Community Engagement Committee is to promote inclusion, acceptance, and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in our local area.
